Naomi Moss is a counsel at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. She focuses on bankruptcy law and corporate restructurings and has experience representing chapter 11 debtors, official and unofficial committees of unsecured creditors, secured lender groups and DIP lenders. Her restructuring matters encompass a variety of industries and involve multijurisdictional and cross-border matters. Representative matters include, among others, an informal group of secured lenders of Outcome Health LLC, the first lien lenders of Avaya Inc., a group of second lien lenders and DIP financing lenders for SunEdison, Inc., a significant noteholder of NII Holdings, Inc., a group of holders of beneficial interests in the Motors Liquidation GUC Trust in the General Motors bankruptcy, the Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors in the chapter 11 cases of BPZ Resources, Inc., and the debtors in Residential Capital, LLC.

Ms. Moss served as an intern to the Honorable Robert E. Gerber, former United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York. She earned her J.D. and an LL.M. in bankruptcy from the St. John’s Law School. She received her B.A. from New York University.
