Jon Zinman is a Managing Director at Solus Alternative Asset Management, an investment advisor specializing in event-driven and distressed investments. Mr. Zinman joined Solus in August 2012 where he is a restructuring and legal specialist on the investment team. He advises on and participates in various restructuring processes in which Solus is involved, represents Solus in negotiations related to its investments, and analyzes the operative documents governing Solus’ potential and existing investments. Prior to joining the firm, he was an associate in Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s Restructuring Group starting in 2007. Mr. Zinman received his J.D. from University of Michigan Law School in 2007 and his B.A. from Duke University in 2002.
